Exposed Concrete Staircase Renovation Project

Client request to have the front entrance exposed concrete staircase, renovated to replace the deteriorated over sized wood support structure and hand railing system.

The support structure had deteriorated over time to the point of potential structural failure causing saftey issues for the clients and any pedestrian usage.

We were asked to asses and provide our impression of the condition and recommendations for the repair service.

Once we had closer look we found that the base the support stringers had deteriorated and started to cause damage to the rest of the structure and that the structural failure was eminent.

We performed a careful removal of the exposed concrete treads and set them aside for reinstalling once the structural rebuild was complete.

The deteriorated support structure was then fully demolished, removed and disposed. All new treated and galvanized materials (Stringers, Posts, Railings, Hardware and Strapping) were expertly crafted and installed to match the original architectural design.
